Job Description – Sr. Field Service Engineer/ Field Service Engineer

Sr. Field Service Engineer/ Field Service Engineer

Reports To

Mr. Ching Tai of Design Manager

Responsibilities:

Report directly to the Engineering Manager and responsible in engineering support and servicing of the existing built and new grow semiconductor equipment, which include Assembly and Fine Tuning, Test and Debug, Commissioning, Acceptance Buyoff and released of final equipment for production.

Fine tune and align the equipment to ensure the performance of the machine achieving or exceeding the customer expectation.

Lead the engineering service and support of the equipment in the field and prepare timely progress report and service report for Management Review.

Support equipment commissioning and enhancement or debug the equipment in customer’s premises.

Responsible for training operators, technicians, or engineers of customer to familiarize the operation and maintenance process of the equipment.

Continuously feedback for equipment enhancement and keep track with the latest technology with respect to individual area.
Liaise and co-ordinate with Marketing representative, project co-coordinator, customer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Software Development Engineer, Assembly Engineer to deliver the quality equipment.

Ensure the accuracy of the documents such as Field Service Report, DOE, and Equipment Buyoff Acceptance.
Formulate and standardize procedures for equipment assembly, alignment and maintenance.

Implement ISO9001, FMEA, and other activities that may be required by the Management from time to time.

Achieve Key Performance Index (KPI) that will be specified by the Management from time to time.

Requirement/Qualification:

Minimum Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Electromechanical, or equivalent in other related fields.
At least 3 years working experience in hands on assembly, equipment maintenance, field service and support will be an added advantage.
Have a passion for engineering knowledge and equipment fine tuning and alignment.
Possess strong Trouble Shooting Skills, Analytical Skill and Equipment Technical Capability, such as assembly methodologies, components know-how and application, preventive and maintenance skills, good technical and customer service communication skills.
Must be a committed and Results oriented person. Personal Drive is necessary.
Proficient in English (both writing and verbal) and PC Literate: Word, Excel etc.
Willing to travel aboard/local if required.
