Job Description – Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer/ Mechanical Design Engineer

Title

Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer/ Mechanical Design Engineer

Reports To

Mr. Ching Tai of Design Manager

Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Mechanical Design Manager and responsible in designing the semiconductor equipments, which include Conceptual Design, Prototyping till Documentations and released of final equipments for production.


• Lead the design development projects and prepare timely progress report for Management Review.


• Responsible to train, develop, and motivate team members to deliver the equipment on time and meeting customer expectations.


• Liaise and co-ordinate with Marketing representative, project co-coordinator, customer, Software
  Development Engineer, Assembly Engineer, Field Service Engineer and vendor to deliver the quality equipment.


• Ensure the accuracy of the documents such as Engineering Drawing, BOM, ECN and ECR.


• Implement ISO9001, DFMA, QFD, DFMEA, FEA and other activities that may be required by the Management from time to time.


• Achieve Key Performance Index (KPI) that will be specified by the Management from time to time.


• Perform other tasks as and when required by the Management.

Requirement/Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Master Engineering in other related fields.
• At least 3 years working experience in Mechanical Design or Product Development and hands on in SolidWorks 3D modeling design will be an added advantage.
• Have a passion for design engineering knowledge and equipment automation solution.
• Possess strong analytical skills and technical knowledge, such as application of mechanical components, engineering materials, GD&T, SEMI Standard, fabrication, and assembly techniques.
• Proficient in English (both writing and verbal).
